Muuto Linear Garden Table and Bench in Burned Orange against dark green backgroundTodays colourful, contemporary find is the new Linear outdoor table and bench by Muuto.  Although very simple, this sleek-lined outdoor furniture features subtle design details that nonetheless make a big impact.

I’m surprised at just how much I like these streamlined pieces.  Maybe it’s the typically understated Scandi aesthetic or perhaps the minimal yet arresting colour palette.  I decided a while back that if (when) we replace our current, traditional teak garden furniture then I’d like to opt for a more contemporary look.  But one that isn’t too austere, and that blends quietly into the outdoor setting.  And I think that the Linear Steel Series ticks all the boxes.

The bench has also been designed to slip easily under the dining table to save space when not in use.
