Inspired by wildflower mini-bouquets, the Posy Party is the latest, craft-inspired idea from Bloom & Wild, whose genius idea for fresh letterbox flowers I wrote about back in February. And a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to have the chance to make some posies myself at a Bloom & Wild workshop hosted by online craft marketplace EtsyUK as part of their Christmas preview event.
Like all great ideas, the Posy Party is incredibly simple but the results are really beautiful. What pops through your letterbox is a sturdy Bloom & Wild box containing a selection of stems that are ready to be mix-and-matched into the five petite posy bottles included.
In addition to the five gift-wrapped mini- bottles there’s also some florist’s twine and twenty stems made up of Lisianthus, Spray Veronica, Astrania, Green Bell and Craspedia.
So you can let your floral creativity run wild, and mix and match the blooms into any arrangements you fancy. It’s a lot of fun, and the simple arrangements take on a real sophistication when grouped in their bottles en masse. Alternatively you can dot the bottles individually around a space for little hits of colour and summer freshness around the house.

The beauty of the mini-bottles is that you don’t need many stems to create a really striking display. And Bloom & Wild have come up with another very practical use for them too:
