I visited the Home 2013 Show at Earls Court yesterday, a fabulous showcase of classic and modern home accessories and interiors products by British and international designers, makers and brands.

The quality of design and craftsmanship on display was a real testament to the organiser’s ethos of selecting companies whose products reflect their belief that:

“consumers are making more considered purchases, investing more in products and brands for the home that offer timeless style, high quality and are beautifully designed”.

Particularly enjoyable, and especially relevant to us here at colourful beautiful things, was the section of the show called Homegrown, dedicated to providing a platform to emerging British design talent.  I’ve got some great stories to share in the coming days, but for starters here’s a selection of just some of my favourite things:
