Oh. My. Gosh. Look at this bed. Not everyone’s cup of tea, I know, and it wouldn’t really fit into my house/decor, but I still love it to bits. In the right room it would look A-Ma-Zing.
Obviously, it’s the turquoise thing that did for me, but the brass nailhead detailing is what really makes it special. I wonder how many nails there are per bed? And how many hours did it take to bang them all in? Did just one person do it, or was it a team? Anyway, I think it’s stunning, and I keep sneaking looks at the picture because if makes me very happy indeed. It’s called the Nailhead Linen Bed, by the way.
But that’s not all, there’s lots of other fabulous colour and pattern in this season’s furniture collection from Anthropologie. Here are my highlights …
Staying on the turquoise theme, we have the Moroccan-inspired Souk Modular Sofa, another stunning, statement piece. There’s the sofa unit above, plus the Souk Modular Chair and Souk Modular Corner Chair below, so you can move them around and configure and reconfigure to your heart’s content.

The shapes are streamlined which allows the colour and pattern of the printed cotton dhurrie rug upholstery do all the talking, plus there’s the blanket stitch detailing on the seams. You could put these into any eclectic scheme and the cleans lines mean they would look fantastic in a contemporary, minimal space too.

These colourful Hand Loomed Nesting Tables are very on-trend with their metal hairpin legs, and their tops are made from textiles encased in resin. The designs were handwoven from abacá fiber by Philippine artisans who created the designs based on visions from their dreams. Each design is specific to the weavers own village.

Shades of indigo are all around – from the denim explosion on the catwalks to the interiors world’s love affair with dark blue walls – so here is the Washed Indigo Dresser. Made from washed mango wood, it’s another way to bring the moody blues into your home.
The Bangala Armchair has lots of character and combines Danish mid-century lines with bold printed linen upholstery.

And finally, the Lacquered Elm Dining Table, with its massive, sculptural, turned wood legs whose bulbous curves make me very happy too.
What about you – do any of these make you smile?
