A couple of beautiful interiors shots today, which I spotted on the Dutch blog The Style Files and found very inspirational. I’m a bit of a sucker for pink, but think it’s very hard to get right. These images show how it can be calm, delicate and grown up without being at all sugary, gaudy or twee. The dark blue and olive/khaki cushions add earthy tones that balance the pale pink, the brighter lime green lifts the palette with a little zing, whilst lots of natural textures and raw wood add a bit of an edge.
I just love these flashes of deeper, grass green along with a touch of lime – and how fabulous is that rug? Using the deep band of grey on the walls breaks up a relatively narrow, tall space and creates a simple headboard behind the bed – genius. Super simple, and super stylish interiors inspiration.
